New York has one of the best skylines in the world - wherever you look there is an iconic landmark or view. The Big Apple is the perfect muse for my art. This is such a classic Manhattan scene: skycrapers towering over Central Park and its famous ice rink.

This piece is created from an original photograph and digitally coloured by hand, including all the people enjoying the skating, some more than others. Printing the image on a slim sheet of brushed aluminium gives it an etched appearance, picking out the lovely details of the buildings and constrasting nicely with the bright colours.

Central Park Ice Rink is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it easy to hang.
