Cinerama Dome (brushed aluminium)

One of my favourite buildings in Los Angeles. It was a radical new design back in 1963, and based on R.Buckminster Fuller's famous futuristic concepts.

This piece was created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand and printed on a super-slim sheet of brushed aluminium. The Cinerama’s beautiful shape lends itself perfectly to aluminium which brings out its stunning patterns and angles, rather like a giant golf ball.

Cinerama is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 2 weeks. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
