St Paul's (with cranes)

Sir Christopher Wren’s intricate design and stunning shapes make St Paul’s the perfect subject for my art.

The piece is created from my original photograph, taken from the Thames Clipper boat. I’ve stripped it down to show how the basic curves, lines and angles combine to produce the Dome’s famous shape. I love how it is sandwiched in between two cranes, illustrating one of my favourite things about London - the old and the new side by side.

It is printed on brushed aluminium, which makes the outlines glisten as the light hits them.
