Another of my favourite LA buildings, this time a relatively modern one, built in 2015.
Naturally I love it because of its gorgous repeated patterns, abstract shapes and lines. And lots of concete. AND it’s right next to another favourite, the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Oh there’s lots of great art inside too. What’s not to like!
‘The Broad (yellow lines)’ is created from my original photograph, digitally coloured, and printed on brushed aluminium. This gives the piece an etched appearance, picking out the graphic patterns and making the bright colours even more vivid.
