Hong Kong Taxi (black, brushed aluminium)

I seem to have work featuring taxis from many countries in my portfolio. There is something very satisfying about their shape, their colour, and in this case, the lighted sign on the roof of the cab, here in two languages.

This piece is created from an original photograph of a Hong Kong taxi. It is digitally coloured by hand and then printed on a slim sheet of brushed aluminium. This leaves the sign with a metallic finish which contrasts beautifully with the black background.

Hong Kong Taxi is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 10-14 days. An aluminium subframe on the back makes it incredibly easy to hang.
