From my Little London collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art.’

This piece was created from an original photograph taken from a helicopter. You can see from the South Bank as far as the wind turbines in Kent. The view shows everything I love about London: the incredible number of beautiful landmarks (old and new), the beautiful patterns in the landscape, and the gorgeous curves of the river Thames as it carves its way through the metropolis.

The photograph was digitally manipulated to trace the outlines and shape of the city and printed on a small piece of brushed aluminium which gives the image an etched appearance. It is floated in a hand-painted waxed wood frame.
