The bright colours of the rainbow coloured Lifeguard hut seem a perfect fit for the Venice Beach lifestyle. I love the contrast of the hut's colours against the lightness of the sand, both of which stand out againdt the vivid purple sky.

This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand (including the people on the left), and printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium, which really brings out the vivid colours. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
