If you can identify a building by its outline or shape that is a sign of a brilliant design. And the Guggenheim, Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1950’s New York masterpiece, is a perfect illustration of this.

This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand, and printed on a small piece of glossy aluminium. The building’s curves appear as metal shapes, as if they are cut out of the black, illustrating the beautiful simplicity of museum’s design. The Guggenheim is a work of art in itself. The image is floated in a hand-painted white wood frame.
