From my Little Apple collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Apple with a little piece of art.’
Described as one of the greatest projects of the Great Depression the Rockefeller Center is now one of New York’s most iconic building. The 1930’s Art Deco beauty was declared a National Historic landmark in the 1980’s. You can see a hint of its famous ice rink flanked by a square of world flags at the bottom of the image.
This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand, and printed on a small piece of brushed aluminium. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
