From my Little London collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art.’

The National Theatre on London's South Bank is one of the biggest inspirations for my art. Every time I visit I notice new angles and shapes. The simple Brutalist shapes lend themselves to my style of work.

This piece is created from an original photograph of one of my favourite views of the theatre, with the Shard poking out in between the blocks. The image is digitally coloured by hand and printed directly onto a small sheet brushed aluminium, which brings out the vivid colours. Using a variety of bold colours illustrates how many layers make up the overall composition. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
