Little London, St Paul's (black)

Limited Edition

15 x 26 x 4 cm, edition of 30

From my Little London collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art.’

St Paul’s Cathedral, one of my favourite buildings in London, built by Sir Christopher Wren between 1675 and 1710. Its ornate design and stunning shape makes it the perfect subject for my art.

For this piece, created from an original photograph, I have stripped it down to show how the basic curves, lines and angles combine to produce the Dome’s famous shape. The image is digitally coloured and printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium. The outlines you can see are the aluminium, which glistens as the light hits them. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.

Little London, St Paul’s Cathedral (black) is made to order. It can usually be created and delivered in around 2-3 weeks.
