From my Little Los Angeles collection: ‘celebrate the big city with a little piece of art.’

I've spent many hours capturing the beautiful abstract shapes of curves of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by the architectural genius Frank Gehry. The outside was originally intended to be made with stone, but was replaced with a matt stainless steel as a cost-saving measure, which makes it the perfect subject for me.

The piece is created from an orginal photograph and digitally coloured by hand. It is printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium leaving the hall itself in metal to show off is shape and mimick its real facade. I’ve coloured the group of people outside in bright colours to give the picture some balance. It is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
