From my Little Apple collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Apple’ with a little piece of art.’

I love the beautiful blue colour of the Manhattan Bridge. It often gets overshadowed by the more famous Brooklyn Bridge but this is equally beautiful I think. It looks like it has weathered the highs and lows of the Big Apple’s history with it’s faded colour and robust chunky design.

This piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured and printed on small sheet of brushed aluminium, reflecting the bridge's material. The vivid pink sky contrasts nicely with the faded blue of the bridge, contrasting with the silver metal finish of the Empire State Building peeking through the middle. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
