From my Little Apple collection; ‘celebrate the Big Apple with a little piece of art.’

I love the lines and repeated patterns in modern architecture. This is one of my favourite examples, the 1960's MetLife Building above Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.

The piece is created from an original photograph, digitally coloured by hand and printed on a small piece of brushed aluminium, which really brings out the patterns of the building. The vivid pink sky and fluorescent yellow of Grand Central Station bottom right adds to this. The image is floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
