From my Little London collection: ‘Celebrate the Big Smoke with a little piece of art.’

One of the many things I love about London is people watching. City life is a blur of different colours as we all rush here and there. This piece was created from an original photograph of commuters waiting for the train home at Liverpool Street Station in London.

Each person, and the departure and arrivals board, was painstakingly coloured by hand in a variety of colours to illustate the melting pot of people in the metropolis. The image is printed on a small sheet of brushed aluminium, which brings out the vivid colours, and floated in a hand-painted wood frame.
